Friends Of Bernie Sanders and Like Minded Friends gathered around Nebraska Senator Pete Ricketts' office in west Omaha on Monday the 10th, to make their voices heard on healthcare.
Disappeared In America Day of Action
The Disappeared In America Day Of Action is a nationwide mobilization. We are tired of seeing people kidnapped off of the street by masked men with no ID. We protested Home Depot‘s cooperation / help in arresting immigrants / brown people. We hosted the "Disappeared in America" event with Like Minded Friend Tim Goodall, on Nov. 1st, 2025. Thank you to all who came out on a cold and chilly day!
We Give a Crap About Our Democracy!
First United Methodist Church spokesperson Carol, members of the church and Pissed Off Grandmas visited the offices of Senator Fisher, Senator Pete Ricketts and Congressman Don Bacon. Unfortunately, none were warm or welcoming. We attempted to leave free toilet paper at the offices, but Fisher’s office said they "couldn't accept gifts" and Ricketts office refused to take the free toilet paper. Bacon’s office however, didn’t even let anyone into the office.
NO KINGS!
Nearly 7 million people participated in the Oct 18th NO KINGS rallies. Despite the many criticisms that anti-Trump protesters came to preach about, there were displays of optimism, hope and whimsy and many showed up in costume. Like Minded Friend Mark Gustafson, gave a speech at the rally - “A Farmer’s Warning" - we urge you to read this speech.
