Must Watch Video
Probably the most famous scene of “The Great Dictator” is the five-minute speech that concludes the film. It's Chaplin's first "talkie" / film with sound.
Chaplin drops his comic mask and speaks directly to into the camera, conveying his view that people must rise up against dictators and unite in peace.
Although some may find Chaplin’s message cliché, one cannot help but be moved by the prescience of his words. The final speech of “The Great Dictator” remains relevant and valuable even today.
We attended Fiestas Patrias and had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the festivities going on during the festival.
In visiting and talking with the community we learned one of the best ways to help and support the South Omaha Community would be to come and shop (groceries, novelty items, and clothing) and come to eat at one of our many fine eating establishments and restaurants in South Omaha.

SOYEP SUCCESS!
Event on July 17th at 72nd & Dodge St. Omaha
We were supporting SOYEP (South Omaha Empowerment Project) at this event as they knew family members taken away from the raid at Glenn Valley Foods. These are young kids who organized this event for their community. We collected food, school supplies and donations to help these families out. We also recognized John Lewis, his passing five years ago, and all he did.
We backed a pickup back to the curb and donations of food and school supplies filled it until it was a towering heap! Cash Donations will give this team the ability to fill in any blank spots to continue helping the South Omaha families impacted by the ICE RAIDS.
If you didn't get to attend the event you can still donate - just tap / click the button.
Some of our Like Minded Friends got together for a bite to eat after a successful day of supporting the South Omaha Youth Empowerment Project (SOYEP) with their fundraising effort for food and school supplies, at 72nd and Dodge.
